ABOUT US

Welcome to EOMS

EOMS has been entertaining audiences for many years with a wide variety of musicals, operettas and concerts.

We are a fun and friendly society who always welcome new members.

When and where do you perform?

Our productions take place in May and November annually at The Point, Eastleigh.

Where and when do you rehearse?

We rehearse throughout the year, with a break in the summer. Rehearsals are at 7:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Guide HQ, Hoddinott Road, Eastleigh.

How can I join?

If you are interested in joining EOMS, please drop us an email at [email protected] or contact us via Facebook Messenger.

A member of our committee will try to get back to you as soon as possible.

Usually, there is a cut-off date for new members once we have started rehearsing a show. However, we will be able to give you more information once you have contacted us. We always try to accommodate new members wherever we can.

There is also an annual membership fee. This can sometimes change depending on the show.

Do you also have a junior section?

Yes, we also have a very successful junior section  Footlights Youth Theatre for young people from the age of 8 to 18.

They recently performed the Wizard of Oz at the Point and their next show is Madagascar at Otterbourne Village Hall.

What if I don't want to join, but I see your shows regularly?

Why not become a patron?

Pay a annual fee of £50 in January and receive two tickets and two programmes per EOMS show for that year.

A great way to save you money and an excellent way to support your local operatic society.
